Producer Directory

The Producer Directory highlights members of the West Kootenay Fibreshed who are participating in the soil-to-soil fibre cycle in our region. From fibre plants and animals to processing, making, garments, and compost, each listing represents a part of the interconnected system that makes a regional textile economy possible.

Producer listings are available to Producer Members of the Fibreshed. This level of membership is open to anyone engaging with the soil-to-soil cycle, whether through farming, fibre processing, textile making, natural dyes, repair, research, or learning.

Tracy Fillion

Tracy is a fibre artist whose work is deeply inspired by the surrounding landscape of rivers and mountains. Her practice focuses on weaving and plant dyeing, working thoughtfully with natural materials and processes rooted in place. She is interested in creating textiles that are either highly functional or quietly thought-provoking, reflecting on relationships between land, labour, and care.
