One-on-One Mentorship Program

COMING SOON

The West Kootenay Fibreshed is developing a One-on-One Mentorship Program designed to support focused skill-building and professional development within our regional fibre and soil-to-soil ecosystem.

This program will create structured, paid mentorship relationships that move beyond informal advice toward clear, time-bound learning engagements. Mentorships will emphasize depth over breadth, supporting targeted development within a defined scope.

We are currently in the roster-building phase.

Call for Mentors (Members Only)

We are inviting active West Kootenay Fibreshed members to apply to join our approved mentor roster.

We are seeking practitioners who can offer guidance in:

• Specific fibre practices and textile skills
• Growing and processing bioregional materials
• Natural dye and plant-based colour
• Tool use and fibre preparation
• Regenerative land practices
• Systems thinking within the soil-to-soil cycle

Mentorships will be structured as paid, minimum 4-hour engagements, delivered in person, online, or in hybrid formats depending on capacity and location.

Being added to the roster does not guarantee immediate placement. Mentor matches will begin once the program officially launches.

If you feel ready to guide others through focused, outcomes-oriented learning, we invite you to apply.

Deadline for applications is March 15, 2026

More details about mentee intake and program launch timing will be shared soon.
