Explore the colour, shape, and pattern held within locally grown flowers in this hands-on introduction to botanical printing on fabric.

Facilitated by Tracy Fillion, this two-hour workshop will guide participants through selecting suitable plants, and arranging fresh flowers on fabric. You will learn how bundle printing and steaming can transfer natural pigments and botanical impressions onto cloth, while also exploring the possibilities of growing a dye garden at home.

Each participant will design and create a one-of-a-kind botanically printed organic cotton bandana to take home.

No previous natural dyeing or textile experience is required. All materials are provided.
